Polly Hope.

Looking back (oh so briefly) at last year I've remembered a lovely shoot I had with the artist Polly Hope. She lives in the 'countryside' recreated just off Brick Lane in the east end of London. There are dogs wandering around, chickens pecking in the courtyard and a parrot squarking in the corner of a large barn. Outside in the street wafts a faint hint of curry. Two times novelist, Polly Hope owns this amazing easel, used in a painting of Queen Victoria, though history doesn't relate as to who the artist was. Anyway, it was a shoot to enjoy, a fabulous subject in a great location, something to think about when next working in a company's boardroom somewhere in Esher.
